About SOAR
The SOAR Learning Center extends our ministry beyond Sunday mornings by providing free academic support and mentoring for local students.
SOAR is a Christ-centered educational ministry designed to strengthen academic achievement while helping children develop confidence, character, and lifelong learning habits. Students receive tutoring, homework assistance, enrichment activities, and caring mentorship in a safe, structured environment where they are encouraged to grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

The mission of SOAR is to empower students to reach their God-given potential by providing free academic support, mentorship, and educational enrichment that strengthens families and helps transform communities.

Many children in our community face significant educational challenges due to limited access to after-school academic support, safe learning environments, and consistent adult mentorship.

Who we serve
SOAR serves students attending schools in the Rome area, with a primary focus on North Rome families.
We currently anticipate serving students from Elementary
Middle, and High Schools (as capacity allows)
